Thanks! I actually went with these HyperX Fury sticks. Everything's been smooth sailing since! I wasn't aware that anyone was making DDR3L sticks with heatsinks until I saw these. They're nice for now because of their lower voltage, and will be in the future when I upgrade to a motherboard that primarily uses DDR4 RAM as I won't need to upgrade them right away.

I've got nothing against Crucial. I've used sticks from them in the past with no issues whatsoever. It honestly probably was just a bad batch of sticks that they made. Hopefully that's been settled for people who want to buy from them now.
