I have no experience with the amp I'm bringing up, so this may be the least useful post on r/headphones today. But...

The ifi Micro iDSD Black Label has been praised heavily here for the last couple months, particularly by u/I_want_all_the_tacos, u ufospls2, and u mikkraisk. I've also seen them used for about $500 so that matches you budget pretty well.

Yeah, not a lot of room to work with beyond a certain price point. I'd add a 4K or 240hz monitor as a secondary monitor but thats about it.

OP, if you really want to fill that budget I'd look into audiophile headphones/DACs like this and this.

Bespoke/high end mechanical keyboards are another option and feel otherworldly compared to general corsair mechs with cherry switches. /r/mechanicalkeyboards might interest you - custom keyboards are built by buying parts individually and most posts on that sub are usually $400-$500+
