Am I crazy for thinking that this one might work for me?

It says thunderbolt 3 right in the title, and if it’s compatible with thunderbolt 3, then my thunderbolt 3->2 adaptor should work. But it’s actually cheaper than the enclosure that I bought and showed you! Would you mind taking a peak to see if I am obliviously missing something with this one?

Maybe that one won’t work with SSD? It doesn’t specially mention SSD...

You could buy a USB-C to SATA connector like this one from Amazon for $10. Take the hard drive out of the 2009 MacBook and plug it into the new Mac via USB-C.
