FRIENDLY REMINDER

The law mandates that all JFK assassination records must be fully declassified by 26 October 2017.

I encourage everybody to check out a book entitled JFK and the Unspeakable: Why He Died and Why it Matters

Or if you want a condensed / free version here is a link to the author, James Douglass, discussing his book on C-SPAN Book TV

I've seen great reviews for this Jackie bio. and I like this JFK bio, and this one about the assassination and its impact.

I read this book recently:

This fellow did his homework. I haven't researched anything beyond what I read in the book but it seems legit. The author does seem to connect the dots.

It is a sad read though. I never did believe Oswald could cap a moving target with a bolt action rifle and the book clearly states he was a patsy. Hence, his quick murder by Jack Ruby to shut him up.
I didn't realize how hated Kennedy was by the military and the CIA. Quite the read.

The take away from all this, along with your list is that our government cannot be trusted. Also, read Smedley Butlers book which is quite an indictment. This behaviour by our government is nothing new though. Current events with the Boston bombing showing how militarized the police and government agencies have become is frightening.
I do believe the government considers it's own citizens to be a threat to its existence and is moving in a way to protect itself.
We are the losers in all this of course. The future is bleak. Orwell was right.

Yes, it was an interesting read. Problem though, is that most of its original stuff is hard to independently corrobarate. The conclusion that Oswald was completely innocent comes from the cumulative reading of a lot of books, documents and articles over the years.

The book that convinced me to really dig deep into this rotten story was: ”JFK and the Unspeakable”, by James Douglas.

A master piece: https://www.amazon.com/JFK-Unspeakable-Why-Died-Matters-ebook/dp/B005Q07DKY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1549947878&sr=8-1&keywords=jfk+and+the+unspeakable
