Another pro tip for keeping stripes on, get some of this tape. It's thin, it's uniform, and it stays on really well.

At least I think it's this stuff.
I buddy tape my left pinky to my left ring finger ever since I broke the pinky in three places one game a year ago. I use thin 1/2 inch medical tape: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0058UYALC/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&th=1
My fingers are sized such that I can tape the middle segment of the pinky to the bottom segment of the ring finger, and the top segment of the pinky to the middle segment of the ring finger, avoiding the knuckle joints of course. I tape in such a way that I can still move my pinky finger and inch or so, but any more than that the tape will stop it. The nature of my injury was that the pinky was pulled out (separated) from the ring finger until it broke, and this setup prevents that from happening again.
