Masters of Doom is an amazing book. It's probably the first book since high school that I've read cover-to-cover in less than a week.
If you're (or were) into Magic the Gathering, you should check out a book by the same author (David Kushner) called Jonny Magic and The Card Shark Kids about Jon Finkel's life. Kushner has a great hand for writing about gaming culture.
