I never use cooling pads for my Blade since 2015 model till now 2017, i just uVolting through Bios and the temp in max GPU and CPU usage never over 81 C which is i think good, because almost 2 years with 2015 one i manage also such temperature and never got thermal throttling or overheating. When i play demanding games, i use only this besides uV.

Maybe with cooling pad the temperature will be better though.
I got these for my gaming laptop although I remember them being cheaper. work pretty well and are fun to play with.

They are really great and so small that you can take them literally anywhere with you. :) Of the method of cooling depends on where your laptop's fan is, I think.
