Budget - £30 or less

Source - Ipod Nano, Nexus 5 and Laptop

Requirements for Isolation - Mainly use them while travelling (cycling, walking or bus), other than that I don't think I need isolation, but up for any advice on that

Preferred Type of Headphone - On ear

Preferred tonal balance - Bit of a basshead, but balanced is also good.

Past headphones - I've had the JVC HAM5X's for 2 years now, but seeing as I've broken a soldered the cable back together more time than I can remember it might be time to replace them. What I liked most about them is that they have rather larger pads that pretty much surrounded my ears.

Preferred Music - Nothing specific but if I had to be general there does seem to be a lot of bass.

Location - England

I've checked the headphone buying guide and like the look of:

  • JVC HAS400B for £25.19

  • Monoprice Premium for £17.59

But I'm up for any advice or suggestions as I've used the same pair for 2 years and haven't got much experience

I'm looking for foldable headphones in the €50 category.
I made a list of some I already found in this sub.
I would love to hear some opinions and other recommendations. ATM the AKG K451 has my preference.
I'm also interested in over-ear headphones, but in most cases they are not very portable.

If you're okay with sound leaking into the room/don't need to worry about sound bothering others, either the Superlux HD681 or the Koss KSC75.

If sound leakage is an issue, either the Monoprice 8323 or the JVC HAS400B.
