Replying to /u/scandii (whose post was deleted his post before I could hit submit).

>"I bought shit, and it's shit"

>that's what I got out of your comment. not saying you're wrong or anything, but what did you expect?

>when it comes to the lower end of bluetooth vs regular headphones regular headphones got bluetooth beat every single time.

They have decent reviews on Amazon (4 stars/5000+ reviews), so for $25 I wasn't expecting shit. I figured that $25 headphones would have worse sound quality than something $100+, but I assumed (I guess wrongly) that BT tech was advanced enough that moving my phone from one pocket to the other wouldn't cause the audio to cut out.

But yeah, lesson learned. BT headphones apparently are only reliable if you go mid to high end.

Kinivo BTH240 I just got these! Fit over the ear and behind the neck nice and great battery life. Super cheap too! If you are fussy about sound quality they probably aren't the best though.

u/IamtheCarl · 3 pointsr/running

Love these: http://www.amazon.com/Kinivo-BTH240-Bluetooth-Stereo-Headphone/dp/B00AWIPITS

Boyfriend bought the 220s first before the 240s were available. I loved them so much he got me the 240s for myself so we each have a pair. Battery lasts a long time, and sound quality is good. I would say neither of us are audiophiles, but these work great for audiobooks or music on planes or outdoor running.

u/BigHairyWaffle · 3 pointsr/bodybuilding

I use the Kinivo BTH 240's

In all honesty they are the best $25 ive spent. Comfortable, bluetooth, and sound quality isnt bad. Good for cardio and any exercise.

u/CoSh · 3 pointsr/Weakpots

Kinivo BTH240s are super cheap, bluetooth headphones, decent sound quality, battery lasts forever, great fucking gym headphones. Cheap enough that you can drop a barbell on them and not care very much. No cords to worry about. I love mine. I usually wouldn't shill stuff but they're a great fucking deal.

Kinivo BTH240 Bluetooth Stereo Headphone - Supports Wireless Music Streaming and Hands-Free calling (Black) http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AWIPITS/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_S-33tb1ZA078F

Worth every penny. Had a pair stolen out of my car. Purchased new pair within 48 hours. Love them.

u/hollaballa · 3 pointsr/Fitness

I love my bluetooth headphones. You can get much sleeker ones for more but I have never had a quality issue with these. They never come off your ears, you don't have to bother with wires, and the battery charge holds ridiculously long. I charge them about once a month and workout 5x a week.

You can spend an extra $50 and get something prettier, but your best bet is still to go with bluetooth headphones for the most convenience.

I will swear by these, I have had 2 pairs in 5 years ( the previous pair was the older model and the speaker blew on the right ear after 3.5 years). There's a water resistant model too but these are the one i use for jogging/working out mostly.

u/Caddy1334 · 2 pointsr/running

I use Kinivo Bluetooth headphones and have been happy with them, that are under $25. Currently on my second pair which I've had about a year. Had their older model ones for 2-3 years, they still work, but I upgraded cause they had an annoying blue flashing light on them. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AWIPITS/

u/HotSeamenGG · 2 pointsr/Fitness

I recommend these: http://www.amazon.com/Kinivo-BTH240-Bluetooth-Stereo-Headphone/dp/B00AWIPITS/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8

Got it from a body builder recommendation on Youtube. It's pretty nice. I personally dislike ear buds too cause it never fits my ears properly.

u/StanleyLelnats · 2 pointsr/Fitness

Not everyone's favorite style but I have had no issues with these bad boys. The battery lasts for a really long time and you never have to worry about them falling out since it really isn't too possible with this style of headphone. Relatively cheap as well and you can find them in different colors if that's your thing :)

u/_margittai · 2 pointsr/powerlifting

Not the greatest sound quality (not terrible, but definitely not the best), but the battery lasts a fucking long time and the BT range is better than almost any other pair I've tried. Hands down the best value for any headphones I've ever used: https://www.amazon.com/Kinivo-BTH240-Bluetooth-Stereo-Headphone/dp/B00AWIPITS

If you prefer in-ear instead of over, then these are the way to go. First and foremost, you can take one ear bud out and not have it dangle down awkwardly, pull the flimsy cord into an uncomfortable position, and ultimately yank the other bud out of your ear. Most ungodly annoying thing about BT headphones IMO. Aywho - battery life has about 6 hours of continuous use in them (not as good as the Kinivo, but good enough for a few gym sessions between charges) and the range is pretty solid. A+ sound quality, too: https://www.amazon.com/Headphones-TaoTronics-Microphone-Waterproof-Cancelling/dp/B06Y671331/ref=pd_sbs_107_1?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B06Y671331&pd_rd_r=F2XSJ4RT9K6FY0V566TE&pd_rd_w=wn5GH&pd_rd_wg=bBgk0&psc=1&refRID=F2XSJ4RT9K6FY0V566TE

FWIW I still own a pair of both, use them regularly, and honestly prefer the TaoTronics headhones over my fancy ass "high end" noise cancelling ones when listening to music.

u/drinkingforkarma · 2 pointsr/iphone

These seem to work great for me and are 1/2 price right now, Kinovo BTH240

$25 + shipping, or free with prime.

8 hours of battery life. Won't come off your head. They may not be the greatest looking headphones but they are built decently well and work as advertised. I don't think you could beat these for the price range in wireless headphones.

u/IgnorantOlympics · 2 pointsr/funny

I think they're these:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AWIPITS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_8-n0xbHAWCT7R

It's been a while, though. I'm sure they hiss, but since I use them in noisy environments anyway that doesn't matter to me. I hear good things about the Jaybird X2.

u/grandzu · 2 pointsr/fireTV

I have the older version of these and they are great for the money.

u/ashishgup · 2 pointsr/shutupandtakemymoney

There are many brands now on amazon. Just search. And some of them are pretty good. Last around 10 hours on a single charge, so depending on your use, you have to charge every night or two days.

Example:

These are what I use in the gym:
http://amzn.com/B00AWIPITS

I don't actually need super high fidelity. I need enough music in my ears to zone out and do my workout. I can't do inner ear stuff -- I find it bothersome. These are also easy to drop off the ears if someone wants to talk to me.. and if I get a call that I want to take, I can take the call without changing anything. Also cheap enough for when I lose them in the gym, or somewhere in my car...

u/Oddistic · 1 pointr/Android

I'm no audiophile, but I have really enjoyed the [Amazon Premium Headphones] (https://amzn.com/B00HX0SRXW) that came with my Amazon Fire Phone. Reviewers comment on how the buds fall out easily and the cord frays but mine have given me no issues over the past 1 1/2 years. Sound quality and bass sounds excellent, magnets allow easy 1-earbud listening, controls and mic have worked for every phone I've tried them on, and the tangle-free cord has redeemed earbud headphones for me (never used them previously due to the tangled mess they usually become).

As for wireless, the AUKEY EP-B26/KINIVO BTH-240 has been my go-to. I've tried the Jaybird-style headphones but they never seem to fit my ears correctly. Sound quality is perfectly fine for running/outdoors. Comfort is great except that my ears heat up during distance runs. Mic leaves a lot to be desired, but works fine for the price.

u/MSweeny81 · 1 pointr/MTB

Right, well I think you've probably just made a sale then. Bit torn between these and these because I've had problems with in ear buds before but I think I've gotta give yours a punt because I like everything else about them!

u/GhostBond · 1 pointr/buildapc

Better sound, look a bit goofy, but don't mess with your hair:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00AWIPITS/

Smaller, easier to carry, less goofy looking, but smaller drivers and not as good sound:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0721MP41Q/

u/idriveacar · 1 pointr/Fitness

I use these

In ear headphones never seem to stay in my ears and get distracting when they are on the verge of falling out. So I used the Motorola S305, which I killed with sweat. Not want to pay that much again, ~$50 at the time, I came upon these. I've been using them since Sept 2014 and haven't had an issue yet.

u/breathing_walls · 1 pointr/snowboarding

You could try just getting some bluetooth headphones like this and modify those to fit in your helmet. I did it recently with some $20 headphones and some yarn, they turned out really well and I get nice crisp sound (also the buttons are big enough to feel for controls). Took maybe a afternoon to cut all the plastic off and wrap it.

All I need to do is test how long the battery lasts in the cold....

u/FolkSong · 1 pointr/audiobooks

I mostly use this one. The battery life is ridiculous, I would estimate at least 20 hours, although the official description says less than that. I use them every day while I walk my dog and sometimes other things, and I charge them about once a month.

u/Daniel15 · 1 pointr/LifeProTips

I have these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00AWIPITS/

They're not fantastic, but they're not terrible either. Had them for a few years.

u/okaydolore · 1 pointr/xxfitness

These Kinivo bluetooth headphones! I can't do earbuds either and these are excellent! They sound pretty good and stay put. And they fold up real nice and small :) Plus, the price point is pretty good!

u/aaalllen · 1 pointr/snowboarding

I had some OutdoorTech BT ones die. So for $25, tools and about 10 minutes to free the wire, I’ve had these as drop-ins: Kinivo BTH240 Bluetooth Headphones (Black, On-Ear, Wireless Music, Hands-Free Calling, Built-in Mic, Foldable, Memory Form Earpads, Travel Bag) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AWIPITS/

They last all day and I can line it up to hit the right buttons thru the ear flap and with gloves on. As a regular rider and phone in a front pocket, the control side had to go in the right ear flap

These might work, too: Levin Bluetooth 4.1 Headphones Neckband Wireless Sports Headset Over-Ear earbuds with Sweatproof, Hi-Fi Stereo,Built-In Microphone and 12 Hours Playtime(Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y5WWTWD/

u/Beartrap137 · 1 pointr/Fitness

You can search the subreddit and you'll get some previous threads on this topic. For what its worth I use http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kinivo-BTH240-Bluetooth-Stereo-Headphone/dp/B00AWIPITS and theyre awesome for the price.

u/Combative_Douche · 1 pointr/iphone

I've had a handful of different cheap ones from amazon. The best built and longest battery life would be the Kinivo BT240, in my opinion.

u/xinoehp · 1 pointr/headphones

These seem good but not quite compact enough for me. I'm currently deciding between Jabra Halo and the Kinivo BTH240. Thanks for your suggestions.

u/AriSparkz · 1 pointr/headphones

If you found those to be good, then what about these? Kinivo BTH240

u/Myshoppingaccount · 1 pointr/headphones

Budget: $30ish

Hey all, I have a bit of a different request than what you normally get. I am

  1. Not all that concerned about high quality audio

  2. Looking for a cheap Bluetooth headset

I know that you generally skew towards the audiophile side of the spectrum, but my main concerns are ~12 hour battery life, micro USB charging, integrated mic, and that's about it!

I currently have these and they work mostly great. The main reason why I'm looking for something else is these have about a .5second audio delay and they disconnect from time to time without warning. I honestly might just get the exact same pair and home the second one works better, but I'm open to any suggestions.

    Thanks!
u/kh2linxchaos · 1 pointr/Xiaomi

I'm actually a pretty bad judge of it, I've been using Bluetooth Headphones exclusively for about 3 years now, so it made no difference to me. As a side note, the speaker is surprisingly decent, at least from a Nexus 5.

I've had the older version of these for around 3 years now and love them. Little more than what you were looking at but not too pricey.

u/LiquidSwordsman1 · 1 pointr/Fitness

If they don't have to be buds, I recommend the Kinivo BTH240. They are my favorite headphones. I've used them for like 4 years now and am on my second pair. I love them so much I have a third pair still in the box on the shelf. They are good for working out (don't even really move a lot when jumping rope), and a charge typically lasts 2.5 days (I use them to listen to podcasts/music like 12 hours and often leave them on overnight), and charge in a few hours.

They even happen to be on sale right now.

u/Meemster414 · 1 pointr/C25K

These are the headphones that I'm using. I really like them so far, I don't really like earbuds cuz they fall out of my ears easily.

u/ITgreedo · 1 pointr/reactiongifs

invested? about $30 will get you a decent pair of bluetooth headphones that will last about 8 hours

u/CRG13 · 1 pointr/Fitness

I use Kinivo brand bluetooth headphones. http://www.amazon.com/Kinivo-BTH240-Bluetooth-Stereo-Headphone/dp/B00AWIPITS/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1409713144&sr=8-2&keywords=kinivo+bluetooth

Great sound quality and they don't fall off. I've been using mine for about five months now with no issues. Can get a little gross feeling sweat around your ears, but I have yet to have the sweat ruin them or cause any issues for that matter.

u/MattTheProgrammer · 1 pointr/Fitness

http://www.amazon.com/Kinivo-BTH240-Bluetooth-Stereo-Headphone/dp/B00AWIPITS/ref=sr_1_1?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1462982213&sr=1-1&keywords=kinovo+bluetooth I wear these for lifting and running and they stay on my head no problems. They're not the BEST quality, but I have congestion issues that affect my ears so using ear buds hurts due to the pressure difference.

u/PigSlam · 1 pointr/amazon

I've been using these at work for the past 4 years (Well, I've been using the BTH220 model, but this seems to be the current equivelent). They've never run out on me over the course of work day, and I just plug them in when I go home for the day, and find they're ready to go the next morning. Even on days where I've forgotten to plug them in, I've been able to get through another day with them (though I may only use them 4-6 hours over the course of an 8 hour day).

u/mcguirks · 1 pointr/Fitness

Just bought these. Inexpensive bluetooth headphones that work flawlessy.

u/do_hickey · 1 pointr/running

I can't know which will stay on best without buying them, though. hmmm... I may actually try the cable ones because I currently have hook ones (not meant for running, but I use them Kinivio BTH240) and they stay pretty well with a jog, but when I sprint I have to take them off and hold them so they don't fall off. The little retention/stiffener clip in the cable ones look like it may help with that.

u/de_redditor · 1 pointr/india

Kinivo BTH240. Used it since a few years, it's quite nice. Has a mic too.

http://www.amazon.in/Kinivo-BTH240-Bluetooth-Stereo-Headphone/dp/B00AWIPITS

u/boothroyd917 · 0 pointsr/Android

Bluetooth headphones work too. I have the Sony MDR-XB950BT's and I absolutely love them. Obviously those are expensive though, so there are much cheaper options too. I used to use (and still own) the Kinivo BTH240's, those are much cheaper and work pretty well. Both headsets have play/pause, next, previous, volume up/down (although the volume is independent of your phone volume, so I just max the Bluetooth volume on my phone and only use the headphone volume). Both can answer calls, but I've yet to find a way to activate voice search from them. The Sony's have absolutely amazing quality audio, the Kinivo's are acceptable, but nothing earth-shattering. The Sony's also have NFC, so you just tap your phone to the headphones and they turn on and pair instantly, which is a nice feature. If anyone knows of a way to get voice search (preferably Google Now) to activate from the headphones, that'd be awesome.

u/emilys_shadow · 0 pointsr/Fitness

I use blue tooth headphones that hook on my ear. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AWIPITS/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_lP7Iub1Q4P9K8 they are awesome. Pretty good sound quality. Fair price. Hold a decent charge. Decent range. Run in them, jump..etc.

u/Josuah · 0 pointsr/headphones

How about Kinivo BTH240 or SoundPEATS?

Get rid of the cords. Something cheap so breakage/loss isn't as much of an issue.

Storage sounds like an issue if you need to assign headphones to specific students, but an issue that really depends on how you use the headphones and not something I'm sure how to address. If everyone sits at the same desk, why not just keep them at the desk?
