Have you looked into fish oil? The Omegas turned my life around with zero negative side effects and arguably it's otherwise quite good for you. Plus it's way cheaper than any of the three anti-depressants I was on when I was younger. This [merchant] sells my favorites at a reasonable cost although it tends to vary quite a bit.
