Nice dress!
If the dress is now two sizes too large, there might be extra fabric you could use. Talk to the seamstress doing the alterations.
If I was the seamstress I would want to use skin-coloured sheer trikot fabric that covered not only your bra but also your tattoos on your back, but that is just me.
Bra-wise I am thinking that a backless bra and or taping is pretty much your best bet if you don't want to alter the dress.
