Change is always a tricky business : that's not something you can do by yourself, you also need to lead others.

My preferred techniques for change are "Leading change" and "Toyota Kata". Leading change is about getting everyone on board and keeping everyone motivated as you go along. Toyota Kata is about continuous improvement in small steps.

In leading change, there's an 8 step process (spanning years, none of it is magic). The katas are what makes possible the steps 5 through 8.

Those two are the framework for change. It helps you actually improving. But WHAT you will do depends on the problem you're having.
