My guess is 321 rubber bands.
As for what to do with them. I suggest you buy a bunch of [these] (http://www.amazon.com/Learning-Resources-LER1513-Geoboard-11/dp/B000P7PVYI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1368558132&sr=8-1&keywords=rubber+band+board). Do you remember them from grade school? They were tons of fun to make lots of shapes with. I remember they were a hit when you got to play with them in math class. I do recall a few rubber bands snapping but overall it was fun to come up with new shapes. I am envisioning a cube wall with just geoboards.
Feel free to surprise me if I guess the closest. However, I am horrible at these guessing games.
Thanks for the contest. Good luck finding a place for your rubber bands.
