When I set up my new vanity space, the lighting was not working at all. The room I am in has one lamp and a lot of windows, but my desk couldn't really go in front of any of them. I have a window on my left that provides nice light, but I would keep having to turn toward the window to check on how things were looking. So I turned to amazon to find a desk lighting solution. Granted I know very little about how different lighting makes makeup look, but I found a solution that really works for me. I use [these lamps] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01F2TH560/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) one on each side of where I sit. They have a few different "temperature" options and they dim as well. $40 for 2 was right in my budget and they work so well for me. I can't speak to their lasting power, but so far so good.
