Not all may be what you are looking for but I own them and have enjoyed them. I really mean it about the first one.
And if you buy good condition used books your not even half way through your allotment at this point.

Legionary's shields also varied from legion to legion, which you might find interesting.
I'm no expert but I've heard of no personal banners used by the legions, apart from the well-known standards (emblems on a long staff) that were carried at the head of the column.
Legions of Rome by Stephen Dando-Collins. I think it's definitely worth a read. It might be exactly what you're looking for.
