It's quiet, powerful and tiny. The only caveat is that I ended up going through about one a year until I gave up on them for a Hitachi (which is NOT quiet).
I think its a perfect newbie toy. Its a little different from the bullet since its made of a silky silicone and its a different shape but it is absolutely my best pick for a beginner toy. Its not my absolute favorite toy for masturbation (works well but not quite as well as the Gigi) but for a more versatile vibrator that works AMAZING during partner sex and works well for solo use I can't recommend it enough. I haven't found a better toy yet to use for partnered sex. Make sure you buy it from Amazon since you can get it really cheap, I got mine for only about $54 (if you saw the prices on the Lelo website you'll know thats a steal). Anyway, here is the cheapest Siri on Amazon and thats only $58. I would ABSOLUTELY say this toy is well work that money. The only reason I might not recommend it for you is if you are especially insensitive since even though it has good power it doesn't have enough to work for someone who craves A LOT of power. For any typical user though its more than adequate. My only complaint is that it isn't waterproof. The only toy I own that is waterproof is my Fun Factory Angelo, but I haven't found that to be a huge problem with my Siri.
This is what I bought. It was originally something small and discrete that I could bring on vacation with me, but now I use it probably half the time instead of my Hitachi. Another plus is because it's so tiny you can use it during sex depending on the position. Maybe it might also work for her. If she uses only a Hitachi it might take a little time to get used to it so don't just try it once and throw it in the reject drawer. Good luck!
I was on the ring for almost 8 years, then did six months switching from the patch to the pill and now she put me on the Mirena because I didn't trust myself to take a pill every day. The Lelo Siri is great: small enough to be partner-friendly (unintimidating and doesn't get in the way), but powerful enough to reliably get the job done.

I use the Lelo Siri because I like strong vibrations. It's the strongest clit vibe I've been able to come across (although I wouldn't invest in another lelo product thats not the siri as they can be weak). It's comparable to the WeVibe touch, I believe.
