Definitely I would recommend that you go for the Lenovo Thinkpad T440p . It has lot's of power courtesy of it's decent processor and of course , it has a great 16 GB RAM and a 500 GB SSD which brings some much needed speed and will see you not having to install an SSD yourself. This laptop like most Thinkpads is also very solid in build and has an outstanding keyboard and nice battery life courtesy of its great 6 cell battery.
