How are you buying the TV from Engadget?

LG's site correctly labels it as G-Sync compatible. And you can buy it from there

https://www.lg.com/us/tvs/lg-OLED55C9PUA-oled-4k-tv

Amazon also lists it as G-Sync compatible

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07PTN79PG

So the TV manufacturer lists it correctly, the software developer lists it correctly, and the largest retail store lists it correctly.

Seems like consumers aren't being mislead.

MSRP is $2499. Best I could find is camelcamelcamel price history for amazon. $1796 in July, $1596 in August, and just dropped to $1496 within the past couple days.
