You've defined propaganda well in a round-about way... I don't disagree with how you've defined it

IMO, FNC is no more a propaganda machine than any other news agencies that leans left/right, e.g., MSNBC

Yes, there are sadly ignorant people that will be swayed by the information they receive without processing, analyzing, critiquing, etc. However, that is the nature of humanity and something we all suffer from to a degree.

The principle you are fight against is the ability for people to chose their media. You are asserting that their choices should be dictated and they should not have the choice to view FNC. Your reason it seems is that 'they' are not smart enough to chose, and that broadcast media is select and precious and there is 'no room' for FNC. Those are detestable and what I would call fascist-progressive arguments.
