I printed this out and sent it home to a similar parent. Mom bought them and I put them in. I had some annoying parents and I bought the equivalent from China on eBay and asked parents permission to put them in. I told mom to send new shoes in and I'd put them in new shoes. I put them in 4 pairs of a kid's shoes. Best money spent.
I get that this is posted as "Velcro shoes are juvenile" post but Lock Laces have seriously made a huge improvement in my life and I strongly recommend them.
Lock laces are stretchy, and work great if you're wearing gloves.
