And yes, I know, I'm a shameless Paula's Choice fangirl, and I'm almost embarrassed about it because I'm afraid people will think I'm a secret shill for the company or something haha. The reason is this: they are trustworthy, hand down. I'd say about 75% of my skincare knowledge has come from reading their articles, listening to their podcasts, and so on. They truly know what they're talking about. Their skincare and opinions are supported solely by research, they review (and often recommend) products from tons of other skincare and beauty lines, they don't test on animals, their prices are competitive...basically, everything you could want in a skincare company. The only other company that even comes close to being this trustworthy is Benton, a South Korean brand, and to be honest I haven't used them yet so...!

That said, I totally understand the desire to have other product recommendations! I'm assuming you mean from other companies, there are also other products in the Paula's Choice line I could recommend haha. >:)

  Sunscreen is a bit tricky because I'd like to recommend one that has at least SPF 20 plus UVA protection, has a good consistency for your combination skin (not too oily or drying), is a physical (versus chemical) sunscreen to avoid irritating your eczema, and is comfortable and doesn't leave a white cast so you'll actually wear it! Whew! To be honest, I looked high and low and I couldn't find another brand that offered one that met all those criteria, at least not with my knowledge (I'm sure there are plenty in Korea and Japan but I can't vouch for them individually). So if you'd like another recommendation let me know which of these characteristics (consistency, gentleness, appearance) you'd be willing to compromise on and I can give you some good choices!
