Quite an interesting military history read.
Fall of Hong Kong and Singapore are both interesting reads about poor British military planning (all guns facing over the ocean) and racist attitudes (eg, the Japs can't attack at night because their eyes are too small to have night vision) that lead to the downfall of both those cities.
I mean Asia is a HUGE topic for tactical military history. As a former military historiy uni student , the study of cause and effect of political/personalities and translating it into the military terms can be....long and wide ranging.
