A good headphone stand:

A cool glass/metal stand thing to put under your tower or monitor:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AJHCQD8/

A big long mouse+keyboard pad that like a rug, ties your whole desk together:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N0LDFR8/

A cool scissor arm to hold & move your microphone:

For things that are more significant than accessories: Get some active studio monitor speakers, a nice dac/pre-amp/mixer, a mechanical or electrostatic-capacitive keyboard, a REALLY nice office chair, and stuff like that. A good battlestation is about a lot more than a big monitor, cool case, and some good processing power.

Here's the link. Its super thick glass, works great for keeping the desktop away from the dusty carpet.

You can get a monitor stand to lift your PC off the floor/carpet. I have wood floors but I still wish I got one a lot sooner. Got mine off of Amazon

u/G_saucey · 4 pointsr/pcmasterrace

The stand is from amazon for around 20$

Looking good, but I have two inexpensive suggestions: get this for a PC stand and get this for your headphones

I just received the glass stand and I like it a lot, used it to raise up my monitor and free up space for my keyboard and my backup HDD. It'd fit/look a whole lot better than that silly AC retail box ;)

Monoprice sells a nice, simple glass and metal stand that is good for this. Used it on a previous build of mine. Here’s the link for anyone looking.

Ventilation on the bottom side of the case - where the PSU intake normally is on modern cases. And potentially bottom intake case fans.

Depending on your case's feet and the height of the carpet, you might be restricting how much air the PSU can pull in.

The other concern is pulling up dust & stray carpet fibers into the PSU/case, which is less of an issue on a hard surface.

My thought is if it's a pretty low-pile or berber-style carpet, it's not a big deal. If it's a medium-high or shag carpet, at least put something under the case so it's not sitting right on the carpet.

Doesn't have to be fancy. A piece of spare particle board is what I'm using at the moment. A hefty monitor stand also works.

EDIT - Also if you have pets that shed, better to keep it up off the carpet. And make sure you have decent filters on your intake fans.

Bought this a couple weeks ago - looks great with my setup. Listed as unavailable right now for some reason.

I have also used this Monoprice variant in the past. Works just as well as the one above, friend just needed one and I switched to match my desk/build.

I bought one of these off of Amazon to keep my tower off the carpet. It looks nice and fits my case just right. It's made of glass so it will match your case even better. I recommend picking one up.

I got this clear glass monitor stand from Monoprice: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AJHCQD8/

It's got plenty of weight rating for a tower and the 22"x9.5" is perfect for my S340. But you can see they have plenty of bigger sizes.

And trust me, I've looked. There really isn't a whole lot else for this purpose unfortunately.

u/JoeyDJQ · 2 pointsr/pcmasterrace

I use this stand for my PC. Come in black/clear glass and metal. All different sizes. Good price.

Edit: Looks like OP has this exact type of stand for his monitor. Didn't notice. One for the PC would match nicely.

u/thebeasterino · 2 pointsr/CableManagement

ummmm... I'm guessing the description on amazon.ca is bogus?

It seems to be talking about a cable..

u/CosmonautJizzRocket · 2 pointsr/battlestations

Hey if you don't want to put the desktop on the floor because you have carpet, i use This stand to raise mine off the ground. It'll save you a ton of desk space.

u/James_XIII · 2 pointsr/pcmasterrace

I bought this for my girlfriend's PC that stays on our carpet floor, and it is awesome.

u/PC_Battlestations · 2 pointsr/battlestations

This will work better than a box: Monoprice Multimedia Desktop Stand 22" x 9.5" - Monitor Riser, Laptop Stand, Desktop TV Stand, PC Riser w/ Height Adjustable Legs https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AJHCQD8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_hpECCbK2Y0KJ0

u/TheCasualJedi · 2 pointsr/PS4

If you have to do this I say use a monitor stand to separate the two. Put the PS4 on the bottom since it has fans on the side.

Heres a link to what I'm talking about. Check the dimensions

u/AFRIENDLYAVOCADO · 1 pointr/battlestations

Looks really nice! I dig your hardware choices.

I might suggest one of these guys to get your machine off your desk while keeping it away from carpet. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AJHCQD8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

u/posthxc1982 · 1 pointr/buildapc

This is what I use to keep my brother's HP off the ground, very sturdy and convenient. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AJHCQD8.

u/RoseyOwl · 1 pointr/buildapc

Hi all I am hoping someone could help me.

I have my computer currently sitting underneath my desk and as my floor is carpeted I have my PC sitting on a piece of cardboard until I find something better to sit my PC on.

I'm thinking of buying a Melamine particle/MDF board from my local hardware store - as anything I find on eBay or Amazon is either not the right dimensions or too expensive. I have seen something like this but I don't know if it's suitable or could possibly break.

Would the particle/MDF board be okay? Or if you have any other suggestions that are easy on the bank and safe for the PC I would greatly appreciate it.

ps. I cannot place my PC on top of my desk as I have limited space and my cat likes to be in high places, and I don't want her sitting on top of it if I can help it.

u/SmileEmptySoul89 · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

I would like to randomly plug this thing.

I have carpeted floor in my room so I didn't want my tower directly on the floor. This thing works perfectly in terms of dimension for a full sized tower. It also matches my silver and glass desk!

u/MaXKiLLz · 1 pointr/buildapc

Start with something like this for your Fractal.

Crucial makes good SSD. I have them in several of my PC's with no problems.

u/sonsofaureus · 1 pointr/Workspaces

I have this one.
I use to to keep my PC off the carpeted floor though. I don't know if glass goes with the look you're after, but it's pretty strong.

u/barelyincollege · 1 pointr/headphones

It's not a vertical rack, but Monoprice has a couple cheap multimedia desktop stands that you could use as an equipment stand on top of your desk.

u/x_Sligh_x · 1 pointr/buildapc

I love this thing and use it for my tower. Maybe a bit pricey for its purpose, but at least get a piece of cardboard, plywood, or something so that your PSU isn't choking on carpet fiber.

u/oscarbautista · 1 pointr/battlestations

Not sure if you've considered this, but you can get a little stand for your case that's fairly cheap to keep it off the floor. Here's a good one on Amazon that can hold up to 60 lbs.

On the nightstand is a Google Home Mini.

Here is the stand: Monoprice Multi Media Desktop... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AJHCQD8?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

u/Narpt · 1 pointr/buildapc

Pick up one of these to get it off the carpet! PC Riser from monoprice. Otherwise great build. Glad you didnt get like a 1000+watt PSU like some people think they need with 1080 -_-;;;

Also for future small upgrades that are life changing would be sleeved PSU cables for the evga PSU. So much easier to manage for the cables.

u/FEAReaper · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

It's a little smaller than your dimension, but depending on the actual feet placement, something like this is what i was looking at for myself a while back. It's actually a monitor stand but if you find one big enough it should work well.

Monoprice 109434 22-Inch by 9.5-Inch Multi Media Desktop Stand https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AJHCQD8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_W0j1xbPTEMDVJ

u/James_Blonde007 · 1 pointr/battlestations

It came with the desk in the first photos actually. I'm not sure if you can buy them on there own. But honestly it wouldn't be too hard to make one. Or, depending on how big your case is, a monitor stand like his one could work.

u/Pyldriver · 1 pointr/ultrawidemasterrace

It looks like This

https://www.amazon.ca/Monoprice-109434-22-Inch-9-5-Inch-Desktop/dp/B00AJHCQD8/ref=sr_1_1

u/Yowomboo · 1 pointr/pcmods

Monoprice multimedia stand They have larger sizes, check to see which suits your needs.

Also on Amazon if that's your jam.

u/yummyfrenchfry · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

I would highly recommend this stand I use the bigger size with my nzxt switch 810
