I'd second the recommendation for a playmat, though if you get one, throwing in a storage tube would be amazing. I particularly like this one from Monster, because it's sturdy, shows off the mat, doesn't roll off the table. As for deck boxes that fit double-sleeved EDH decks, the Ultra Pro Satin Tower is still my go-to for quality, and at ~$10, it's a steal. Sleeves are also good, as others have suggested, but these days I use KMC hyper mats over dragon shields, both are fine, personal preference at this point.
