EDIT: Note there are other Android smart watches without the flat spot - the feature in the gif is just an app, it would work with others. To keep it simple, the Moto 360 these watches went with a flat spot for smaller bezels around the edge, as screen connecting hardware has to go somewhere. Other options exist with larger all-around bezels but no flat spot if you want a full round screen (e.g. LG G Watch R)
