I'm a chronic dry-lip sufferer living in an incredibly arid state and I have eczema. My lips get so dry and cracked that sometimes they'll just bleed endlessly or "weep" blood/pus (super gross I know, but imagine the Hydnellum peckii mushroom but with bodily fluid coming out of the holes).
I've tried literally every cheap-to-expensive renewing and medicated lip balm out there (aquaphor, jackblack balm, fresh lip balms, carmex) and the one I found that works best for me is this lip balm called Lip Trip. Yeah it's super thick and waxy, but it's the only thing that I've found success with, plus is has an excellent ingredient list. You can also find it at most Whole Foods stores!
