Protein Peanut Butter Ice Cream

Ingredients for 2 Servings
1 cup whole milk
4 scoops vanilla protein powder (I use MRM Natural Vanilla)
2 tablespoons of natural peanut butter

In a Blender...
Add milk and turn blender on low and slowly add 4 scoops of vanilla protein powder. Increase blend speed as needed to fully incorporate the powder and keep everything moving. Once the protein powder is incorporated, add the 2 tablespoons natural peanut butter (or leave out and mash in when eating. Or both)

Cover and blend on med/high to fully blend and incorporate some air. The more air you induce, the fluffier the ice cream will be. Add air for about a minute. Turn off blender and notice that bubbles should float to surface (that's a good thing).

Pour the mixture into a 16oz container (or 2 8oz containers) and set in the freezer. I use an old peanut butter jar, but use whatever is handy. Cover surface with plastic wrap to prevent any sort of freezer burn on the very top surface of the ice cream.

Freeze for at least two hours, but overnight is best. Makes 2 servings. Consistency is a little hard in my freezer (just like ice cream) but microwaving 40 seconds makes texture perfect and scoopable. Your microwave is likely different so start with less time to figure out what works best for you.

I have researched proteins extensively. I don't want a bunch of crap and chemicals in my protein. I have taste tested tons of clean proteins that taste terrible also. Check out MRM protein http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000N8M3PE/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_a_it/179-6130152-3831713?qid=1464896543&sr=8-1&keywords=mrm+protein&pi=SY200_QL40
Quality ingredients and not awful

Interesting. May I ask what the disease is called and why this animal protein is not an acceptable substitute for meat?
