We used this for a while with our little guy:

We would just put it inside the bath tub
This is popular around here once baby can sit up. Fits in the tub, more room for play, and doesn't hurt when they slam backwards. Cheap, too, and portable for trips.

We used the munchkin duck bathtub
My daughter loved it!! It’s really cute too.
you have to get one of those inflatable tubs. i think the duck one is the most popular.

Vintage vinyl squeaky books that are fun to touch.
Summer's muslin swaddling blankets; they rule.
And of course, we have some cute toys for her, but she seems to prefer a single disposable plastic spoon, my rubber watch, a length of knotted cord and our hands/feet. Of the cute toys, the Infantino Stacker is the clear winner for versatility. The base makes a whistling sound, and the rings all have different textures and make different sounds. We combined that with a set of rings and can clip them to her carrier, her car seat, her jumper, her crib, etc., awesome product.

for our 6-months-old who outgrew the bath support
We used a blowup duck tub in the bathtub when my LOs were in that almost-sitting-unassisted phase. It helps them have something to lean on and it’s a good size. Not sure it was this exact one but similar.
duck tub
We have a bath tub, but our 15 month old son still hasn't had a bath in it. We started with this infant tub and when he got too big for that we got this duck inflatable tub. My son is in the 99th percentile for height and still fits in it, so if you have an average baby you could use it for a while.
Kid logic is strange, but your comment made me think of this inflatable bath- it's the best of both worlds!

This helped us transition from his baby tub to our big bathtub. We put it in the tub and filled just the duck. It didn't stop our son from standing, but it made it a little safer.

I hate the big plastic tubs, they take up so much space. After I was done doing sink baths, I just used a sling in the big bathtub. I'm really considering getting this inflatable tub because it's cute.
