Hey I'm sorry you're going through this. I've gone through the same and I know how painful and frustrating it can be. The truth is that eczema is a manifestation of what's going on inside your body. Healthier inside leads to healthier outside (skin). You may be able to heal a little bit before commencement, at the very least calm down the inflammation and reduce redness. Here's what I did with my diet to heal my eczema long term. I believe it can work for you too.

Calories: Eat an ample amount of calories. Now is not the time to be under eating. Your body needs the calories to heal itself. Eating enough will help take your body out of the stressed state it's in. Multiplying your body weight x 15 should give you a general calculation.

Carbs: Stick to White Rice, Potatoes/Sweet Potatoes/Tubers, and Fruit (yes some sugar is ok and it has anti-stress benefits). Carbs did wonders to help my skin heal. I know that low-carb is very popular these days but I don't recommend that especially for eczema. If you're going to eat bread stick to freshly baked all natural bread. For example the stuff they have in the bakery section at a natural health food grocery store. Don't get the pre-sliced stuff that's been sitting on the shelf for who knows how long.

SALT: Yes salt is OK. It's also an anti-stress nutrient. Salt all your meals to taste. This is HUGE.

Remove Bad Fats: Remove all Polyunsatured Fats (PUFAS) because they're inflammatory. This is includes oils like Canola, Soybean, Peanut, Corn, Sunflower, and Safflower. These oils are abundant in store bought salad dressings, chips, junk foods, pastries, etc. Usually anything that's processed and pre-packaged.

Eat Good Fats: Coconut oil, Organic butter, Olive Oil, and the fats that are in healthy animal protein.

Healthy Animal Protein: Grass-fed beef or lean cuts of regular beef, organic chicken, eggs, and fish. If you have issues with Milk then removing it for a while may help. Either that or buy grass-fed whole milk. Don't be afraid of protein because they help your skin heal and rebuild itself.

Other foods: Cut down on Almonds, Peanuts, Walnuts, and Almond/Cashew milk too. These have PUFAs in them and contain antinutrients. Plus my skin has never really benefited from eating these.

Skincare products: I no longer use prescriptions from doctor because my skin is pretty much healed. This may sound weird but all I use is Tallow Soap and Tallow Balm. Tallow is made from beef fat and these products DO NOT dry your skin out. Other than than I also use Defense Soap. It's made from Tea Tree Oil and can prevent infections. You can buy that stuff on Amazon.

Other than that just try to calm down stress as much as possible. Do whatever works for you like taking walks, meditation, talking to friends/family, journaling, or whatever. I know this is a long message and I don't have enough time to go into the science of all this stuff. This is what helped my skin heal naturally long-term after years of reading books/blogs and trial and error. Take care and I wish you the best.
