I'm one of those rare birds, I guess, who really likes the taste of fish oil. This bottle for Vitamin Shoppe is what I have right now.

Looking at the math, I think if price is the primary concern, then capsules/softgels might be the best way to go. However, Vitamin Shoppe and GNC are constantly having sales (at least where I live) that make it easy to go in there and pick up some stuff every now and then. I also order from Amazon when there's no sale, and I've been really pleased with Carlson, but it's really high dollar. Nature's Answer lemon-flavored is pretty good, and Barlean's fish oils have a bunch of flavors to choose from (watch out for carb counts, though; check those label images).

I also eat quite a bit of herring and sardines, so I tend not to take fish oil supplement every day, which saves some money for me. I try to keep on the lookout for sales/specials at Vitamin Shoppe, GNC, Netrition, Drugstore.com, etc.

For example, Netrition has the pint bottles of Barlean's on sales for $21.50 right now, which beats Amazon by quite a bit. If you can shop for some other items and bring down the shipping, it can be a good deal. Good luck! I hope you find something you like.

For you I wouldn't worry about cycling macros for now. I'd eat 100g carbs, 275g protein, & 80g fat daily. Focus on lean meats, healthy fats, and whole grains.

Here's a chart to help with heart rate. Not exact, but will give you a good idea.

Take fish oil! This is a good cheap brand with good amounts of DHA & EPA. For a calculator as to how much you need go here

Oh, and be sure to track everything you eat for at least a month to make sure you're getting the right number of calories/macros - I like myfitnesspal.com but there's tons of options.

It has numerous benefits, but the main reason (imo) is that it fights inflammation. Will help recovery and joint pain. Most recommended doses are way too small, I try to get between 2500-5000mg of epa/dha per day, so someone your size would probably need more. So if you get the big costco bottle with pills that are only 300 epa/dah per pill you'll need to take like 20 of them :D I prefer this stuff:

It's very cheap and potent, i just pour 15-30ml into a glass with some water and slam it
