I was looking for the same thing just a week ago I took a risk on this (http://www.amazon.com/Afunta-Stereo-Headsets-Powerful-Earphone/dp/B00CKG91SO/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1382963904&sr=8-10&keywords=somic+gaming+headset) and despite the off brand it is wonderful. I could wear it for hours on end, the sound is great, and it is built well. Even looks good (in my opinion. The sides light up!) The manual is not in English, but if you need a manuel to install a headset then its not your set.
Edit: Oh, and the mic works well. I don't use it much though.
