PLUS, you get the screws if you buy em new and unused with full service life. For the low low price of probably 10 bucks less than these used ones, shipped.

See

New fans for 119 shipped, or used fans missing necessary components for 110+whatever shipping ends up being.

Noctua NF-A12x15 PWM, 4-Pin... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071W6HJP6

They get a bit hummy at full speed but the static pressure is great for such a thin fan.

u/drewdog173 · 3 pointsr/NZXT

So it looks like you are just barely out of luck with everything you have. Probably a pretty easy option though.

You're at 383mm in components.

The RTX 2080 Gaming X Trio length is 327mm.

The Kraken X62 depth is 30mm.

The AER P140 fan's depth is 26mm

If you instead went with these 15mm low-profile Noctua fans for the cooler (note if not these they have to be 4-pin/PWM)

Using those fans instead would put you at 368mm, with room to spare. $40 extra but you'd be in business.

You might get slightly better results from the Slim Noctua.

The Scythe is about the best cooler you'll fit in your Raven. Beyond that would require an AIO, which would probably not work in your case without mods. Here's my Node 202 modded to fit an H55.

I think you'll find that you may have better luck delidding your cpu and playing with your fan curves than with changing fans. The 7700K is a toaster to begin with...

So, I had the exact same issue.. I found these slim fans by noctua and it solved my problem flawlessly.. I too have the Meshify C.

Noctua A12x15 PWM are the fans I'm using! It should fit any 15mm high fans between the rad and the GPU block I think, gonna try soon when the fans are delivered!

u/apz2016 · 2 pointsr/CableManagement

Correct. Also because my GPU is so long, I am unable to mount the radiator in the front of the case. So in order to get everything to fit, I was left with a few options. Getting the Noctuas was by far the cheapest.

Regarding the performance of the Noctuas. They weren’t expensive. They perform okay. They definitely aren’t made for radiators. I run the fans on the commander pro so that I can turn them off if I want. The hardest part was finding the correct screw to mount the thinner fans to the radiator. Here is a link to the fans.

Edit: I see they come in black now. May change them out.

If I were to mount a pair of NF-A12x15 fans on the front panel in front of a radiator, do you think they would be visible?

u/nqnak · 1 pointr/buildapcsales

Can you link me to the fans you used? I'm trying to attach this to my 1080Ti.

Fans looks like these:

>Only 140mm fans will fit, you also need to get creative with the mounting to put a rad directly on top of it

What do you mean by creative with the mounting? Will 120mm fan will be easier to fit to the bottom rad?
And should I get the 12V or 24V version?

I thought this come included with Noctua fan? Like in here https://www.amazon.com/Noctua-NF-A12x15-PWM-Premium-Quality-Quiet/dp/B071W6HJP6

>How have you run your cases before without fans? Genuinely curious

My first case was a thrownaway old one from my brother. So i just removed the side panels and left it there. My second/current case is an itx Silverstone ml08. Things are tight, and I feel the heat when touching the case, but somehow dont throttle. So again I don't even bother. But I surely need liquid cool and proper fans in this on-the-way evolv shift :))

If you end up just needing another 10 mm, you can get these Noctua 120 mm x 15 mm fans. I doubt it will lower cooling performance much, if you just get one for in front of the graphics card.

If you watercool one and not the other then the temps will be lower than just air but with both the GPU and CPU in the loop on one 240mm rad it becomes an issue. I had much better results with the AIO on the CPU with a large top hat and the GPU like what Linus did. Two thin PWM Noctua fans kept the GPU cool and silent and the AIO did the same for the CPU. If you want to avoid the top hat then the Big Shuriken 3 fits the Ghost with another thin Noctua fan and the screw holes carved out so the screws sit flush in the frame. Both fully air cooled and CPU only water cooled produced much cooler temps than both CPU and GPU watercooled with a single 240mm rad. Feel free to experiment for yourself but I can only go by what happened to me. Sorry for the wall of text and enjoy the PC!

Anyone maybe try this combo?

Seems like it would be .15mm too tall if I'm reading it correctly but that doesn't seem undoable. Only concern might be with the fan touching the sides? Thoughts?

u/OmegaResNovae · 1 pointr/Amd

Aside from all the other comments, if you don't care much about looks and your case is just wide enough, you could rig another 1-2 120mm or 140mm fans to blow directly towards the blower intake fans, using something like this fan bracket or similar, just to force a bit more air in between the gaps.

Alternatively, cutting out a 120mm or 140mm fan opening on the side panel over the GPUs, and just putting one of those fan filters over the hole on the outside, and the fan on the inner side. Noctua makes a nice 120mm x 15mm slim fan that would do nicely for such a purpose.

u/Nayeonly · 1 pointr/buildapc

First, bring out a ruler to measure how many clearance it is from the GPU to the steel plate to mount the fan. Usually the slim fan model are ranging from 12mm to 15mm. Try to find a slim fan anywhere either it's amazon, newegg or Aliexpress. Your case can mount 3 x 120mm fans ot 2 x 140mm fans OR 1 x 120mm + 1 x 140mm

Noctua NF-F12

OP, get NF-A12 if you want to "go all out."
The A12 will surpass the F12 in almost all applications. So, unless you're trying to push air through a bed sheet, get the A12 instead.

As for the bottom slot, get the low-profile NF-A12x15. You will also need a 120mm fan grill to prevent PSU cables from rubbing on that fan.
