They also make black and grey ones but ya the khaki ones I think are better, and they're the ones that come on the cpu coolers. I also don't like the look but after years of seeing them it's sort of grown on me. It's just if you're showing off your build with a glass/acrylic panel, what matches khaki and brown?

The pwm version is backordered until the 24th but you can purchase it for the same price.

Edit: There seems to be a few other models on sale. The names are links to Noctua's site so you can see the specs. The prices link to amazon.

If you are looking to add "clean and quiet" case fans to the Define R5, I'd recommend these Noctuas.

One observation I have is on the CPU cooler. The Ryzen 3700X is a 65W CPU with a 88W default PPT. It comes with a Wraith Prism cooler in the box. That same cooler comes with the Ryzen 3900X which is a 105W CPU with a 142W default PPT. The Wraith Prism already provides more than enough cooling capacity for the 3700X. There's little point of replacing it unless you just prefer the aesthetics of a liquid cooler.

that case actually supports 140MM intake fans, so it's be tempted to replace the 120MM front fan with an NF A14 FLX or an NF P14 1200rpm.

Would mean there is just simply more air being pumped into the system and it would keep the air pressure nice and positive.

Should also be quieter than the stock front fan, and is undoubtedly quieter as Noctua is world class when it comes to quality.

They look strange, but I've grown to like the look of Noctua's fans honestly, although their Redux fans (the old models with reduced prices essentially) are all grey anyway and 95% as good.

Not really a massive amount of need for an A-14, I'd stick with the cheaper P-14s and save a few $, as case fans it shouldn't make any difference really they are so close to each other in performance.

Yea, I've been looking at their stuff, Im gonna go with this for my radiator, still trying to decide on my case fans, but im gonna have one noctua on the bottom intake as I dont want it super visible.

Still looking for 2 white/ black fans for exhaust though

So you are paying $100 extra for a white piece of plastic on the IO shield and another $90 for silver topped RAM?

Are you willing to make a minor compromise on the fan color? The Noctua Industrial Redux lineup is light grey housings with darker gray blades.

noctua fans are without a doubt the best when it comes to cooling, you did not say if you need 120 or 140mm fans but here are my recommendations:

120mm: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KF7PPY4/?tag=pcpapi-20

140mm https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KF7Q4WG/?tag=pcpapi-20

If you want a rather RGB/pretty fans then corsair is the next best choice
