Glad you found my experience useful. Depending on your setup, you might find the below mattress useful. It folds up and you can use it as a seat. You might want to go with a full-blown mattress for more comfort, but this is a great space-saver, and pretty comfortable for what it is. Good luck.

I sleep on the floor. It's ok because I actually like sleeping on a rock hard surface and our bed is way too soft for me. I sleep next to the bed because snoring is not the main problem. I just don't like sharing a bed and every single time he rolls over or gets up to use the bathroom it wakes me up.
The snoring is sporadic, though. Typing this made me remember a couple of times when I ended up sleeping on the floor of the baby's room, or even in the hallway, when the snoring was bad. And yet many nights there is no snoring at all.
Maybe considering something like this that stores away and you could take it to any room you want.
Or kick him out and make him sleep on the couch.
