For a while now, I've been looking for a more than casual less than dress (one step down from business casual?) watch to wear around. A couple days ago, I came across the Orient Marshall on WUS and I fell in love and immedietly ordered it off Amazon for $119.

So far I've worn it for a day and I absolutely love how well it fits with a pair of jeans and a sweater.

The one I picked: http://www.amazon.com/Orient-Marshall-FEM7E002W-Stainless-Automatic/dp/B007S3FQOC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1412039346&sr=8-1&keywords=orient+marshall

That cost is very high, do they offer warranty and test for water resistance? I live in mexico and have had a couple of replacements for like USD $6.

The EFR 505 is actually one of my favorite Edifices

You can do it yourself if you are careful. The hardest part for people who are not watchmakers, I think, is getting the replacement. The screw in case back might be a challenge to open without scratching if you don't have the tools. If you really want to try and can get the replacement, let me know and I will post detailed instructions.

A few watches I recommend:

Casio EFR 512. A similar design with a 12 hour chrono.

The EF 515. It is really massive and shiny. The textured dial is very attractive and interesting and the watch is very well made. The square shape may make you doubt but I've gotten compliments a few times.

The AMW 330, a well made diver style chrono.

A casio with an anual calendar. It is really versatile and good looking.

Check the Orient Marshall, it is an automatic and the inner bezel can be used to time events. Check this video explaining it, I believe that is the exact same version.

It does have a metal bracelet, but I do not see any pins. I bought this watch: http://www.amazon.com/Orient-Marshall-EM7E002W-Stainless-Automatic/dp/B007S3FQOC/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1348731432&sr=8-3&keywords=orient+marshall

What is the tool called that I need? Is this the same tool needed to swap the bracelet out with a leather band?

EDIT: Apparently it has L-shaped pins that are incredibly tight (bent a nail and was only able to get it to move ~0.5 mm). What set of tools should I buy to make this task much easier? I really want to also swap it out for a leather band.
