Hi! I usually decant everything and bring a 3 oz mask jar. I keep my routine hella consistent every day. I love these from Amazon!

Congrats man!!!

Couple of comments from my experience of years of traveling.

  1. Ditch the shaving cream and just use conditioner instead. I grab a bottle from a hotel and use that until it's empty. Takes up a lot less space and works well.
  2. The small degree deoderant doesn't really last, at least for me. It's fine for an overnight or emergency, won't cut it for weeks of travel. Best just get a larger size stick.
  3. Think about using small 1oz bottles for other toiletries. I used to travel with the same face wash and those bottles take up too much room and the sharp edges always rip the Ziploc bag. I use these tubes for a bunch of my liquids and they work great. For the face wash I refill it with some squirts from my larger bottle at home.
  4. I see a sharpie but no pen. Recommend you have some pens as well.

These are the bottles!

Yes this is the argan oil & almond line! It has a very light smell compared to normal hair products. Love it. Definitely not flowery or coconutty, but more of a slightly nutty and sweet smell? It's hard to describe. Almost like a cross between a vanilla and almond extract, but not in a "bath & body works overdoing it" kind of way.

I also don't normally do shampoo & conditioner pairs, but these are both genuinely good IMO.

litesmith.com has some good options. It's geared a bit more towards backpacking but some of the items work great for travel regardless.

I use their zipza pouches, size medium and large for toiletries based on how long of trip I'll be on:

https://www.litesmith.com/zipza-pouches/

They weigh *less than half an ounce* and have a nice zipper closure. The grey one is nice because you can just make out what you're searching for inside.

Speaking of inside the pouch, I use the small 'snack size' ziploc baggies for things like pills, cotton rounds, qtips, etc. Also weigh nothing and easy to see whats inside.

They also have a nice selection of bottles for liquids:

The 0.5 oz dropper bottles work good for face wash, hand sanitizer, etc and the size is good for weekend trips. The mini jars are good for hair product and the like, and the 'tottles' are decent for shampoo/conditioner/lotion but my personal favorite right now are these 1oz containers on amazon for week-10-day trips.

They also have these little thumb toothbrushes:

but I think I prefer the one from zpacks (again, I keep it in a snack-sized ziploc baggie). The tiny tiny toothpaste tube they include is just enough for a weekend trip otherwise a half-used travel-size tube goes in.

No affiliation with any of these links/companies, just me trying to stay light.

I've been using Garnier's SkinActive The Gentle Sulfate-Free Cleanser since November. I'm gonna be traveling tomorrow and decided to bring it with me. The cleanser itself is pretty no-frills, but does what it's meant to do without stripping the skin. For reference, I have dry and somewhat sensitive skin. Considering the quality and the price of this cleanser, I will definitely be repurchasing it in the future.

You can get the small bottles in the link below.
