Thank you for the reply.

I do need to be able to use this camera in both indoor tripod use, and also outdoor with ois is needed, so maybe 2 lenses are needed as well.
I hadn't considered a used lens solution. What should I be looking for in a (compatible) used lens for the GH4? I understand that options open up with some adapters as well. I just want to see if there is any more affordable option, I'd like to keep the initial cost low and upgrade in the future. I really would like to try out the GH4, but lens cost would prohibit me from it. I see some panasonic lenses for less than 500 online, but not sure if compatible.

Are they compatible?

To pose another question: since this will be my first replaceable lens system, would it be a wiser choice to test out the GH3? going for about half the price brand new? That way I can buy the GH(5?) eventually when I can better afford it, and still use (?) the same lenses. This would afford me a bigger lens budget.

Honestly the main upgrade to my previous camera that I need is quality indoor low light performance.

Instead of Panasonic 45-150mm, should I go for 45-200mm if it costs about $60 more?

Also should I not bother with looking at Canon EF lenses?
