this case has everything I need and more. it's a good solid build(kinda heavy), and cheaper than many in the same class. if you have room for it, you can't really go wrong.

there is room for water cooling stuff I may look into in the future, but right now i just have an artic cooler AIO for my cpu.

if you dont need a big case they make an itx and matx size cases as well. they also make some of the best fans around, so overall quality company. they even make some crazy expensive ones, like really crazy

Thanks. This is the case I decided on, so I'll have to see how much room there is once all of the parts are in.

Both coolers are good. The Dark Rock is pretty enormous but cools like it. For 80 dollars though I'd get something like a H80i from Corsair.

Great mobo, I use a mini itx version of this and easily overclock to 4.5 on my 6600k.

Pretty much the best overall psu.

You mentioned smallest case. You're limited to cases that support atleast micro atx. Although these can get much smaller than full size atx, Mini Itx will go smaller, have you considered this?

Although not the smallest, the Phanteks is a personal fav.

you're awesome, love the help.

is there documentation you suggest for me to try regarding the timings for my situation? I'm just confused how I know when things are "stable" or even improving for that matter.

I was reading on reference, thanks to you. sucks about the lower clock, but i think I'm happy it has an "exhaust" on the back that blows the heat out of the case.

Maybe I'll wait on overclocking the gpu when I can't play the current VR games in "ultra" mode so to speak? (2ish years from now?) what do you think?

Do you think, can I overclock my cpu even though its not a K?

appreciate the help. let me know if you have a BTC address, I'll send a few bucks your way.

here's my case, by the way: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NZI5T0U/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=1PBBGDXTKPEFL&coliid=I3H9YDXVYK7K9V&psc=1

personally i like the phanteks evolv matx among the sleek-looking matx cases that are similar to this. it's a bit expensive though but has way better cooling than this
