It would not be ideal. I suppose however you could use a stereo speaker like this. The problem is that Atmos is an object based sound process, and relies on the separation of the overhead speakers to provide the effect. I think you would be better served by either skipping Atmos entirely, or purchasing a pair of up-firing speakers to set on top of your front or rear speakers.
the speaker has 2 tweeters. i know its not going to be as good as a proper stereo speaker setup but hopefully better than one channel coming from a stereo amp to a mono speaker.

I want something like this but in a more "traditional satellite" type speaker not a ceiling mount.
