Hey, want to get on a list together? I'm a middle eastern male and I own this pressure cooker and I love it.

Slow cookers are mostly a waste of space once you get a pressure cooker. A stovetop pressure cooker works as regular pot without the lid, so it serves multiple purposes. I ain't gonna waste 5-8 hours waiting around for some stew to finish cooking. Nuh uh, no how, no way. I make stews and pot roasts on a regular basis because I know they take less than an hour in a pressure cooker. Potatoes cook in 5 minute. Rice cooks in 7 minutes. The time savings add up. I mention this because I use a pressure cooker much more than regular pots.

Amazon Fresh sells this Tyson Pork Roast kit for less than $10. Everything is prepped and ready to go. It's available in supermarkets too.

Finding myself in the same position, after reading through posts on this thread, and already owning 2 small, old, Indian cookers, I purchased this cooker, nervous about it being well-made, and I LOVE IT. Perfect capacity, sturdily built, easy to clean, just perfect. I will add that I had no interest in an electric cooker.

I’ve got the can cooker. A little one.

Pro: It is a nice large pot with a great sealing lid. It does speed up cooking a bit.

Con: mine is aluminum. Check material. It doesn’t have any rocker for pressure control, it’s a weep hole that “sighs” pressure out.

If I had a do-over, I would get a small steel pressure cooker instead.

The smallest steel one I can find is a Presto 01341 4-Quart Stainless Steel Pressure Cooker.
