Ginger really is pretty good for nausea. BUT, ginger ale has very little or no real ginger in it. It's no better than sprite. Ginger beer (it's non-alcoholic) will work well though. You can find it at fancier grocery stores. I also used a lot of chewy ginger candy (gin gins) and a hot ginger drink (ginger honey crystals). Warning, these are all very spicy because they have a high concentration of real ginger.

That being said, there's no shame in getting anti-nausea medication either. D what works for you.

Tbh, one of my favorite drinks for energy is a greens juice powder. That is the one that I use, it's unsweetened and unflavored because i am picky about that stuff. It has 5 grass juices, 23 fruit/veggie juices and 14 sprouts. It also has Probiotic and Enzyme.

I will often drink it in the morning for breakfast when I have it around. I'll sweeten it with honey, and it's pretty tasty. If i have Cacao i will throw a little in some mornings. It's a little expensive, or I would drink it much more frequently - It's so good to me.

I won't have a craving for food. I will have tons of energy. I will generally be in a better mood and feel better. I'll also occasionally throw other herb powders or oils into it if i want a dose of something, such as Bacopa and Black Seed oil which help with my pain/anxiety/overall health.

Another one that really helps me early mornings with energy, food cravings, pain and overall mood is Ginger. This is an often under appreciated herb, it's very good stuff. Here is a post that i made a while ago discussing ginger and its benefits for someone. I used it very often working early morning labor, it made the experience much more enjoyable.. Plus it tastes pretty yummy :). I've done both fresh root tea and these. The prince of peace are water soluble ginger, cane sugar and honey that you can mix into warm or cold water and make a quick tea. Fresh tea is better, but we don't always have 30 minutes to brew it and the prince of peace is pretty good. It's nice to be able to take a packet, mix it into a bottle of cold water and head out of the door. The ingredients aren't crap like most instant drink packets.

Edit: and yeah, if you haven't experimented or tried yerba or Green/black/white tea - give them a shot. They're great.

A cook I used to work with introduced me to this stuff.

It's awesome hot or cold and is pretty handy for sauces and whatnot as well. They have it at Tan A for about the same price as Amazon.

Also mixes OK with vodka.
