I used the [Pro Beauty Tools Hollywood Styler] (http://www.amazon.com/Pro-Beauty-Tools-Professional-Hollywood/dp/B004SU8ELA) and set the barrel to Low, Med/Hi, Hi from the bottom up. I curled my hair in about 1-inch sections, most of them curled away from my face, and just a few near the front I curled toward my face to build texture. Then I just used a moderately firm hairspray when all the curls were in and let them dry and cool down for about 20 minutes. Then I just tossled it with my fingers. I had to go back and touch up a few strands that were kinda straight, but that's it! :)
