I was in the exact same boat! The snoogle helped a lot, but what really helped me the most was getting a memory foam mattress topper (I got this one http://www.amazon.com/Density-Elastic-Memory-Foam-Mattress/dp/B004AR5X92). No more hip pain at night!

So I know how you feel, im 6'3" 375 and i hate sleeping on the ground all together.

With that said, I hope price isnt too much of an issue.

I started with a double tall air matress from some generic company. Its just to offer the buffer between me and the floor.

The winner is this guy, who makes it feel like your laying on the most comfy home bed ever... When your done, use it a home on top of your mattress, but I bought mine just for camping first.

All totaled its around $200, but you will love sleeping in it for sure.

This is my super budget setup because I like sleeping on the floor.

I had this topper on my mattress for years and it was excellent. But in general you want something foam. The thicker you go the better it’ll be at quieting the sound.

The only hard part about these is that it makes getting out of bed difficult. On the plus side, they help keep my arm from going to sleep when cuddling since my arms isn’t pinched when a girl lays on my arm.

You can go with other toppers. But this is what I used.

Back in 2014 I needed a really cheap bed really quick so I ordered this bed and mattress topper from Amazon Prime.

It is one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. I now have it in one of my guest rooms and most of my family and friends prefer to sleep in the room with that bed! So I would highly recommend those products.

FTFY:

Zinus 12" Queen Green Tea mattress, middle sagging after 6-8 months (did I get a bad mattress?)

Hello all. I suffer from a chronic sleep issue for over 10 years and also fibromyalgia like body pain and pressure points. Last December after finally being sick of the Sleep Number C2 queen I've had for a number of years, I extensively researched online and bought a Zinus 12" Green Tea Mattress, Queen (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00Q7EPSHI). At first, I had no complaints and it. However, within 6 months I definitely noticed that it's not kept it's firmness in the center middle and quickly sags in when I lay down for awhile.

I'm the exact opposite of what you'd call a heavy set person (Male 36, 5'11' and 74.8 kilograms) and am using the base of the old C2. If I move to the sides I can feel the firmness/support of what it originally was. I've even tried readded the 3" thick-4 pound foam topper I had bought for the Sleep Number (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004AR5X92) to see if that would fix it, but it only pronounces it more.

I've been just dealing with it for the past few months but it's only getting worse I have to believe this isn't normal. I want to start a warranty claim with Zinus but I just cringe at having to go through all of this.

I'm just wondering, was I just unlucky and get a bad pick of a mattress? Had anyone else experienced this? Any and all comments & suggestions would be appreciated!

What kind of topper do you have? Memory foam density matters quite a bit. The one i linked is the one I have, and the 4lb density foam is amazing. I think you can also find the 5lb density on amazon as well, and it'll prob feel like a cloud that u sink into like quicksand.
