They look like BNC connectors for component video. This might be what you need: http://www.hdtvsupply.com/3bncto3rcaco.html

You can also maybe try these so you can attach them directly to your Component cables. https://www.amazon.com/Bluecell-Pack-Female-Plug-Adapters/dp/B005B4O4GG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1472698042&sr=8-1&keywords=rca+bnc+adapter

I have a couple packs of these and they work just fine.

As for the BNC out, that is probably to output video and likely is not useful for audio as there is no audio in. You would just have to plug the red and white rca cables from your console into something else for sound.

If your PVM takes component video you can just get some BNC to RCA adapters and plug the component cable into those. Then you just switch that input from RGB to component (YPrBr) in the PVM's settings as well as in the PS2 video settings.

The only downside is that you won't be able to use that input for RGB anymore. Does your PVM just have one input for RGB/Component? If so you might want to just go all RGB and use a switch.

Edit: Also, when shopping for SCART cables you need to watch out and make sure you don't get JP21 RGB cables by mistake. They look just like SCART cables and they do the exact same thing but the pins are arranged differently so they're not interchangeable. Just stick to SCART cables and you'll be fine. Further reading on cables here.

Yeah its one single audio input at a time. You could Y in both Left and Right stereo but sometimes that causes interference and the monitor speaker sucks anyway. Just get an external audio setup. That's sweet it has the extra card already installed!

You're lucky, this is probably one of the top 5 sought after monitors due to it accepting everything but 1080p. Grats!

EDIT: Also it looks like you have an extron switch which is awesome, me too. I do a lot of hooking up and taking down of the bnc connectors which I dislike. Might want to get RCA adapters for them and your cords.

There's a S-Video input right on the back of that monitor. One side plugs directly into your console, the other into the monitor itself - super simple:

PS1/PS2/PS3 (official Sony brand and excellent quality, FYI)

SNES:

For NES, you'll also want to get a pack of these BNC to RCA connectors to use a regular RCA Composite cable off your NES: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005B4O4GG/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I should add that I forgot to mention that Sega Genesis needs to be modded for S-Video - if your friend can help you mod the monitor for RGB it'll be a breeze for him (it's soldering like 5 single wires and a couple resistors - pretty darn easy). ---OR at that point, if you are actually modding the monitor for RGB, you'll probably forget about the S-Video and just use a regular SCART RGB cable or whatnot.

Also, if it makes your choice easier, S-Video really is excellent quality. You really have to see both side-by-side to notice any difference compared to RGB (especially if you're still new to all this - it's really just the finer smaller differences you can notice between the two connection types).

The IP Video units used to be junk, a buddy of mine reviewed it, and he had nothing good to say about it. But this was 2 years ago or so, and maybe they have improved the firmware significantly. I would rather go with a used Axis, because of the huge flexibility.

As for converting to RCA, BNC to RCA adapters (and F to RCA) are cheap, and standard in the security industry. It's just a 'plug', no circuitry involved.

Here's an example:

Sony Kv24FS120 & Sharp 20F ... PS2, Dreamcast, N64, maybe PS1 if you want the size - Svideo & Component

Sony PVM-1341 ... PS1, Genesis, SNES (RGB) but I think in RGB mode, with this PVM you will require external speakers. You will need to buy RGB cables for each system. Check here or you can look at retro-access but the console5 ones should be ok.

  • You don't have much choice for the NES, any of those TVs will take composite, but you will have to buy an RCA to BNC adapter or a pack of 10 from amazon. If you want RGB from the NES, it requires a complex and pricey mod.

Sony PVM-8042Q ... Raspberry Pi & possibly NES - You can screw around with emulation and experiment. It's still small enough to be near your computer for reference when you can keep going back & forth with the Pi. Or just keep it on top of the TVs, but mind you it is rather portable!

  • The odd cable is meant to go into the back of the PVM-1341 at the BNC inputs, and the SCART port takes in your various RGB SCART cables. You need to buy those for the systems I mentioned.
