Good lord! This would be far cheaper/easier than the sub amps. How come it's not recommended more often?
Edit: So this random amp I found on Amazon.ca will be good, as long as I used a Low-Pass Filter? I'm only asking for future-me in case my BKA 1000 dies ๐
For that kind of power at 2 ohms you can honestly cheap out and get one of those no-name pro audio amps off of Amazon. They are rated nowhere near their actual output, but I'm guessing they can probably deliver 250 to 2 ohms bridged.

TBH, I've heard a lot of good things about Rockville so long as you aren't totally pushing it and depending on it for a paying gig.
ive tried talking to crutchfield live support and they cant help lol.. would this work to power 1x 250rms 8ohm subwoofer? would i still need the crossover?
I would recommend an amp that and provide 500 watts to each.
