I found an LG G Watch on Amazon for $145, where other places are selling it for $200. Gizmodo said the watch was fine but the Asus Zenwatch was cheaper (no longer true).
You may also be able to find cheaper Samsung watches, like the Gear Fit ($125), which Gizmodo was pretty adamant against because of what they called "garbage" software.
The reviews are from this article, but I sense some pro-Pebble and anti-Samsung bias in their smartwatch reviews.
More info here but in summary, it's like a cross between an Apple Watch and a Fitbit but for Samsung devices only. Fitness tracker, heart rate monitor, call/text notifier w/ quick responses and time of course. Curved OLED display unlike the aforementioned two. I have an Apple Watch for my iPhone already, otherwise I'd be keeping it for myself.
