CRT HDTV's were a weird Frankenstein of old and new tech. I still am using one myself in my livingroom, specifically a Samsung Slimfit 1080i 32" CRT HDTV. I think this one, but it says 30" on the specs, and doesn't have the dual HDMI, Component, and other stuff.
Overall I still like watching movies on it due to deep blacks, however it does have some geometry issues and some slight discoloration in the corner. The only thing that seems to come close is OLED/AMOLED.
I never tried the NES Zapper, but I did try the Sega Master System's light gun and 3D Glasses, and those things didn't work with it.
