Sapphire 11276-02-40G Radeon Pulse RX Vega 56 8GB HBM2 Dual HDMI/DP (UEFI) PCI-E Graphics Card https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BGZNTQJ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_WUTXCbH0A9PRQ

This is the link the the item, im not seeing any promo on the page. Is this a newegg only thing? I thought that the promo is for all AMD products for its anniversary? So would I call AMD?

u/clegmir · 14 pointsr/buildmeapc

If your case and PSU will support it: Vega 56 will blow most things out of the water at that price point.

u/missed_sla · 13 pointsr/Amd

I'd pay $20 more for the Sapphire version on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BGZNTQJ/

It looks better and Sapphire is the gold standard for Radeon hardware.

Testing Games has compared both these cards in 8 titles and here are the results

Game|RTX 2060 Avg. FPS|GTX 1660 Ti Average FPS|% FPS increase over 1660 Ti
----|:----|:----|:----
Battlefield 5 | 112 | 98 | 14%
Metro Exodus | 52 | 43 | 21%
AC Odessey | 62 | 52 | 19%
Forza Horizon 4 | 102 | 98 | 4%
Far Cry New Dawn | 104 | 91 | 14%
Shadow of the Tomb Raider | 89 | 78 | 13%
GTA V | 104 | 92 | 13%
The Witcher 3 | 108 | 87 | 24%

For a 25% increase in price over the GTX 1660 Ti, RTX 2060 offers only about 15% more performance in AAA titles at 1080p/ultra-preset.
So, from a price to performance perspective, a 1660 Ti is a much better deal for gaming. Vega 56 is another excellent option if you can find it for $30-$40 more on the 1660 Ti (in fact, Amazon has a deal going on right now. Check it here).

If you do go the Vega 56 route, get this Sapphire one instead. PCPartPicker seems to a bit broken with it atm and not listing it.

u/AMD_Mickey · 6 pointsr/Amd

Are you located in the US? Sapphire has an RX Vega 56 Pulse for $319.99 on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BGZNTQJ/

This also comes with The Division 2 Gold Edition and World War Z.

You can also look at XFX's RX Vega 56, similar for $299 from Best Buy, only today: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/xfx-amd-radeon-rx-vega-56-8gb-hbm2-pci-express-3-0-graphics-card/6183041.p?skuId=6183041

u/koopahermit · 5 pointsr/Amd

For that budget, Vega 56 definitely. RX 580's can be fit into a 600 dollar budget, and the 590 isn't a great buy.

If you live in the US, I'd recommend either of these two:

https://www.amazon.com/Sapphire-11276-02-40G-Radeon-Pulse-Graphics/dp/B07BGZNTQJ

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131740

Whatever you do, don't get the gigabyte version, because it's absolute garbage.

Hopefully most people are getting the Sapphire Pulse Vega 56 for $299.99 from Amazon. I have that AND this Nitro+ Vega 64 in my house. Both are great cards.

u/Thatisdifficult · 3 pointsr/Amd

Out of the options you have given, the Sapphire RX Vega 56 Pulse is your best option.

And as u/Ovlovian has pointed out (Happy Cake Day!), the Vega 56 Pulse is only $320 right now on Amazon.

u/Netblock · 3 pointsr/buildapc

You would see much faster multicore performance for a very similar price by getting the Ryzen 2600X.

You can do much better on the ram.

You're spending way too much on the PSU.

Already have storage? If you forgot to include it, the Intel 660p would be a really good option. If you need bulk storage, do a hard drive as well.

If you want to spend ~$40 more on the graphics card, you can get the Vega 56 (as there's a good deal on it right now) which is 33% faster (Edit: Alternative cheap vega 56)

u/nickyboombox · 3 pointsr/buildapc

I'm in pretty much same boat you are except with a 1070FE, have my eye on that vega 56 on amazon for $319, though i'm still debating if the performance increase is even worth it, kinda stuck

u/ICA_Agent47 · 3 pointsr/buildapcsales

Just get a vega 56. You can get double fan sapphire card for $15 more and get more performance out of it. Link

u/kryish · 3 pointsr/buildapc

vega 56 for 300. if the power consumption scares you, i'll do a 1660ti or rtx 2060 for 350.

https://www.amazon.com/Sapphire-11276-02-40G-Radeon-Pulse-Graphics/dp/B07BGZNTQJ/

u/MrOppie · 3 pointsr/buildapcsales

You can also get the sapphire vega 56 from Amazon for $299. It also includes the 2 free games

u/MC_10 · 2 pointsr/buildapcsales

This particular one was $299.99 for a while. It's been $309 for about a week now.

u/sweetDryzen · 2 pointsr/buildapc

$20 more but it's new......
Sapphire 11276-02-40G Radeon Pulse RX Vega 56 8GB HBM2 Dual HDMI/DP (UEFI) PCI-E Graphics Card https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BGZNTQJ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_2oDSCbK56W2E9

u/Intersection_GC · 2 pointsr/buildmeapc

Buying used mining GPU's is always a gamble, and I'd argue that it's not worth it at that price.

For just $40 extra you can get a Sapphire Pulse on sale, brand new.

u/CherryBlossomStorm · 2 pointsr/buildapc
  1. Yes.

  2. vega 64 for only $310 but it won't be a quantum leap ahead. It'll run your LG32 quite nicely. But nvidia cards can use freesync too now. A 1080 will be a bit quieter and roughly vega64 speed if you're willing to buy used.
u/pcenthusiast69 · 2 pointsr/buildapcforme

Just get a new gpu, like this one
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BGZNTQJ/?tag=pcpapi-20

And maybe a 144Hz monitor.

u/nontheistzero · 1 pointr/buildapcsales

https://camelcamelcamel.com/Sapphire-11276-02-40G-Radeon-Pulse-Graphics/product/B07BGZNTQJ in case you didn't know, camelcamelcamel tracks amazon prices. Been at this price since beginning of April, but it is a new low for this card.

u/shrinkmink · 1 pointr/buildapcsales

The pulse from amazon is probably a better deal if you can get it when it goes on stock.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B07BGZNTQJ/ref=dp_olp_0?ie=UTF8&condition=all

u/shehroz65 · 1 pointr/buildapcsales

Depends. For $300 or less, if you can get a Sapphire pulse/some other GOOD aib model and if you're willing to spend around 10 minutes undervolting then that's pretty Good. Here's a Pulse Vega 56 for $310 https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B07BGZNTQJ/ref=mw_dp_olp?ie=UTF8&condition=new
Although if you're not comfortable tweaking, which is completely understandable, then just wait for an aib rx 5700.

u/mocha_geico · 1 pointr/buildmeapc

The sapphire one is better and cheaper

u/Kittnmitt3ns · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

Buy a ryzen CPU and motherboard. Also drop the RGB ram for a cheaper set. Also, I suggest you get this Vega 56.

https://www.amazon.com/Sapphire-11276-02-40G-Radeon-Pulse-Graphics/dp/B07BGZNTQJ/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=vega+56&qid=1554573900&s=gateway&sr=8-4

u/MMMTZ · 1 pointr/Amd

Pfff... Here in Mexico, a new Rx 570 costs $200 USD, the 1050Ti is $194 USD and on individual retailers, you can find a Vega 56 for as low as $990 USD!! or $510 USD (note it says it has a discount!!! ) or if that´s still a bit expensive, you can get a Rx 590 for $266 USD , pocket change :P

u/AKA_firmhandshake · 1 pointr/FortniteCompetitive

The Ryzen 5 1600 comes with a CPU cooler, so you do not need to buy one.

There is the Vega 56 ($300) which will perform very close to the 2060. The RX 580 will be able to push out 144FPS all on low settings. There isn't much performance difference between the RX 580 and 590, so I would just get the RX 580. Another option is buying a GTX 1070, which will perform in between the 580 and 2060 (closer to the 2060) though. You can get a refurbished one for about $225.

I would recommend forcing an SSD if one is affordable then add a HDD for storage; a build that was generated for $650 that could have easily included an SSD is:

Other than that it looks okay to me.

u/Thorzaim · 1 pointr/buildapc

If I go with a Vega 56, would you say that an extra $15 is worth it for the Sapphire Pulse model over this Gigabyte one?

u/Viriathus552 · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

You should consider vega 56, at stock it's already better than the 1660ti but with an overclock or even bios from vega 64 it destroys a 1660ti and it comes with free games, it's slightly more expensive than the 1660ti but it's worth it

Edit:https://www.amazon.com/Sapphire-11276-02-40G-Radeon-Pulse-Graphics/dp/B07BGZNTQJ/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?keywords=vega+56&qid=1557216214&s=gateway&sr=8-1

u/Woden8 · 1 pointr/Amd

Buy this one if you can find a deal you want on it, it is one of the better Vega 56 cards.

u/shmorfington · 1 pointr/buildapc

Here are the two options I’m considering now. Which would fit my build better, and is it worth the extra cash for the 64?

Vega 56 for $250 because I’m planning on signing up for the amazon credit card since I buy so much from them anyway.

Or this

vega 64 for $400 from Newegg. It comes with that bundle that I assume I could sell for like 50 dollars.

Current build:

Cpu: ryzen 5 2600x

RAM: 16 gb ddr4 Corsair vengeance 3200

MOBO: Asus ROG Strix B450-F

It's going for $479 on Amazon right now (listed price is $579), plus amazon doesn't give you the 3 Game pack if you're interested in those titles.

u/Type-21 · 1 pointr/buildapc

309 right now at amazon US https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BGZNTQJ/?tag=pcpapi-20

I am in Germany and that same card costs 249 Euro over here. That is 279 dollar including tax
