I think my opinion is going to be in the minority here. I'm military, have been shaving my head for years. I love DE, and have a love/hate relationship with SR. So once I discovered DE, I, of course, went to go use it on my head. At first, I had some success with it. It was difficult to shave the back of my head with it, but overall it was kinda working. Then one day I took about an inch round patch of skin off my head and I bled like crazy.
In the past I had tried the headblade razors, and have found them to be crap.
So basically I went back to my tried and true razor for head shaving, the shick xtreme 3.. I NEVER use this razor on my face. Only DE for my face.
I'm setting myself up for down votes, but here's what I do: I DE shave my face, but I use a Shick Xtreem 3 razor to shave my head.
Why? Not because of the 3 blades, but because the razor is designed to flex and I find that it better fits the shape of my dome.
