Going with this subreddit's hivemind (which in this case is quite correct) I would suggest Seiko. Maybe something like a Seiko 5 or a Black Monster?
Also my personal dream watch (I dream small), unfortunately unavailable here in the UK, Maratac Pilot.

There is this Seiko 5 not a great looker though.
Seiko 5 Ssa289 is another option.
Autodromo protipo nero is one of the best looking ones I have seen, though much higher in price and use a mecha quartz movement. Tissot chrono xl also an option if you are ok with quartz.
This is due to solid vs. hollow links. I have the Casio terrorist watch which has hollow links, and that thing will make a bald spot on my arm if I wear it too long. My Seiko Atlas has solid links, and I loved wearing it every day.
